SCOOTIN' For SETH

This page is dedicated to Seth Todd, a beautiful child with Cerebral Palsy. Seth is in need of a surgery that can change his life. He has the chance to walk, and you can make a difference. Our small community has come together to schedule a fund raiser for Seth. We call it Scootin' for Seth. We will have a traveling scavenger hunt, bake sale, yard sale, raffle tickets, and entertainment, all to benefit a surgery that will change this young child's life.

Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR)

Motor Function: SDR results in improvements in sitting, standing, walking, and balance control in walking.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE RIDE

REGISTRATION: 9am-11am

All participants must meet back at Belvedere Fire Dept. no later than 2:00 pm for the scavenger hunt winner announcements.

COST:

$20/ Scavenger Hunt Participants (includes lunch)

$ 6/BBQ or Hot Dog sandwich plate (includes bbq sandwich or hot dog, chips, and drink)

The ride will start at Belvedere Volunteer Fire Dept. in Belvedere, SC. The ride will begin at 9 am with Seth starting it off. The map will be available at the registration table the day of the ride.

BAKE SALE/YARD SALE

TIME: 7am-11am

We have several businesses, families, and friends donating to our yard sale, so come see what treasures you can find!

RAFFLE TICKETS

Tickets will be sold before and during the event for $1/each. Raffle will be held at 2:00pm.

1st prize: Husqvarna self-propelled lawn mower

2nd prize: McCulloch Electric Chopper/Shredder

ENTERTAINMENT

Churches from around the south will be singing God's praises.

There will be speakers speaking, preachers preaching, and singers singing.

In turn, not only are we helping one family, but we are also reaching the community. We are hoping the life of one young child will effect the lives of all that attend. If this event leads one person to the love of Jesus Christ, then our work is done, and Seth has made a difference.

Kids activities will also be provided.
